Dr Dev Kawol

I am a UK trained GP who moved to Queensland in August 2010. My family joined me in December 2010. I have a 8 and 1 year old daughter and they enjoy the lifestyle here. I gathered most of my experience overseas, worked mainly in London and all over UK. My special interests are mens, womens and childs health. I have over one year experience in sexual health and family planning (contraception and IUD insertion like Mirena). When I moved to Australia I added indigenous health and completed a certificate in skin cancer medicine and surgery. Recently I completed my Masters degree in diabetes and this has helped me improve diabetes care in all of my patients. I like to keep myself up to date with latest evidence based medicine and I do attend a few courses and seminars all year round. My consultation style is quite open and I often give patient choices about their treatment and like interaction.
