Dr Devendra Kawol
MBBS MRCGP FRACGP DRCOG DFSRH MSc Diabetes

Dr Dev Kawol is a UK trained GP who moved to Queensland in August 2010. He has vast experience from overseas, mainly London and all over the UK. His special interests are men’s, women’s and children’s health. He also has special expertise in Sexual Health and Family planning (contraception and IUD insertions like Mirena).

After moving to Australia, he gained further qualifications in Indigenous health as well as Skin Cancer medicine and surgery. He recently completed a Master’s Degree in Diabetes which has helped improved diabetes care in numerous patients of Dr Dev’s, with many other doctors referring their patients to him.  He is also one of the contributors for Type 2 Diabetes guidelines in RACGP. Furthermore, he takes a very keen interest in attending seminars and courses regularly to keep himself up to date with the latest evidence-based medicine. His consultation style is quite open and interactive, and he gives patient choices about their treatment.

Dr Dev has a lovely wife and three delightful children. The entire family loves the lifestyle here.


Dr Snya Chadha
MBBS MS(ENT) FRACGP

Dr Snya Chadha had seventeen years of work experience before joining this practice in 2015.  She has the experience of  handling high work loads and is highly skilled in her skin cancer work. Her past surgical experience as an ENT surgeon gives her a very confident approach to all General Practice procedures. She works full time and Saturdays as well. She obtained her degree of MBBS from India in 1997 and pursued her career in general practice for five years after that. Between 2002 to 2008 she did a Masters degree in ENT. She has worked on academic publications, research and thesis work on allergic rhinitis, asthma, snoring, sleep apnoea, hearing loss and tinnitus during this time. Her other special interests besides ENT diseases are the issues of Women’s health, Child health, and Psychiatry. She has completed a training in IUDs and Termination of Pregnancies in India. She does Iron infusions, Mirena insertions and Stitching of Split Ears in the practice.

Dr Snya’s passion for learning and teaching is reflected in her roles of an RACGP examiner and a tutor for GP Academy of Australia. She is also a supervisor for GPTQ to train the registrars working towards fellowship.

Dr Snya is happily married with a loving family and two grown up children, both studying medicine in Queensland. She loves the warmth of the sunshine state, and the friendly people of Jimboomba.


Dr Manas Gupta

Dr Manas Gupta has been a practicing GP at Jimboomba Pharmacy Medical Centre since February 2020. He has 30 years of medical experience, originally being an Orthopedic surgeon trained in a renowned institute in India. He has worked as specialist Orthopedic consultant in Mumbai, India. Further, he gained surgical experience in Singapore for three years. He also trained under Professor Betz in Germany for Motorized limb lengthening.
Dr Gupta came to Australia in 2003 and worked in various hospitals in Queensland and gained extensive medical and surgical skills. He has worked as a senior medical officer in Gold coast University Hospital from 2012-2014 and was involved in the teaching of junior doctors.
Dr Gupta is a specialized surgeon who strives to become GP with a special interest in Musculoskeletal conditions. His special interest are but not limited to arthritis, chronic back pain, joint injections, skin excision, pain management weight reduction and general surgical & medical conditions. He is committed to providing individualized, expert and compassionate care to his patients in a warm and friendly environment.
Dr Gupta is happily married enjoys spending time with his family, travelling and photographing in his free time. His wife is a specialist Gynaecologist practicing in Brisbane and his son is studying in middle school.
With a wealth of knowledge and caring nature, Dr Gupta can assist you with your concerns. He is also more than happy to see Hindi and Urdu speaking patients.

Dr David Huang is a University of Queensland graduate. He joined our team as a GP registrar in January 2022.

Dr Chin Huang

Dr Chin Huang completed his medical degree at The University of Queensland. He joined our team as a GP registrar in January 2024. Before commencing general practice, he spent several years working as a resident medical officer at The Prince Charles Hospital as well as Logan, Rockhampton and Gladstone hospitals. He has also spent some time working in rural NSW and Tasmania.

Dr Chin’s areas of interest include preventative health, skin health and mental health. Outside of work, he enjoys an active lifestyle, travelling, and spending time with his family. He also speaks fluent Mandarin and Taiwanese.


Dr Kuan Ming Tan

Dr Ruwandi joined our team in January 2024 as a GP registrar. She has become a patient favourite in no time due to her caring nature and quality clinical care.


Dr Rachana Dahiya (Paediatrician/ Paediatric Endocrinologist) BSc (Hons), MBBS PRACP PhD

Dr Rachana Dahiya is a general paediatrician and paediatric endocrinologist who graduated from the University of Queensland in 2000. She did her paediatric training in Brisbane at Royal Children’s Hospital and Mater Children’s Hospital and throughout Queensland and has over 15 years experience in treating newborns to adolescents.

In addition, she undertook a fellowship in paediatric endocrinology and spent 2 years in Cleveland, Ohio, USA to enhance her clinical and research skills. She completed a PhD on interventions in childhood obesity which she has presented internationally. Her areas of interest include all endocrine disorders such as type 1 and 2 diabetes, problems with growth, pituitary or hypothalamic disorders, thyroid disease, growth, bone disease and pubertal disorders. As a mother of two boys, she knows the importance of good quality paediatric care and endeavours to provide that for her patients.

Sarah Woods (Registered Nurse)

Sarah joined the team in May 2022. She is a very capable nurse and a great addition to our nursing team. She is dedicated and meticulous in her work and a strong advocator of quality patient care. Sarah is in-charge of our treatment room and accreditation related requirements.

Aarushi Chadha

Aarushi is a full-time medical student at the University of Queensland and hopes to specialise as a GP in the future. Her Bachelor degree in Health Sciences (Public Health major) and her experience as a GP receptionist since 2018 gives her a unique perspective to guide quality improvement activities at our practice.
